A new doctor is joining William Masters and Virginia Johnson’s clinic this season on Masters of Sex.
Lost alum Maggie Grace will guest star in an upcoming episode of the Showtime drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Grace will play Dr. Christine Wesh, a well-respected and confident gynecologist who helps out at the clinic on a case with international implications.
The third season of Masters of Sex will see Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) deal with the national spotlight as their sex study is finally unveiled at the start of the Sexual Revolution.
Grace’s credits also include the Taken franchise and Showtime’s Californication. She is repped by UTA and Zero Gravity.
The new season of Masters of Sex premieres July 12 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.

The Lost grad has exited CBS’ medical drama pilot for creative reasons, TVLine has learned exclusively. The role will be recast.
Based on the festival award-winning Ryan McGarry documentary, Code Black is set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation — L.A. County Hospital — where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most.
Grace was slated to play ER residency director Leanne, described as “a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with.”
Previously announced cast members include Marcia Gay Harden and Melanie Kannokada.
Maggie Grace is plotting a return to broadcast TV in a CBS medical drama. The Lost and Taken actress has been cast in Code Black, CBS’ pilot set in one of the busiest ERs in the nation.
Grace plays the ER’s residency director, “a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with.” She joins the recently cast Marcia Gay Harden in the project.
